In August, 2018, Elon Musk revealed the astronaut walkway that was added the LC-39A launch tower. Recent photos from Tom McCool on twitter show the cladding that was installed on LC-39A.

Launch Complex 39 (LC-39) is a rocket launch site at the John F. Kennedy Space Center on Merritt Island in Florida, United States. It was riginally built for the Apollo program, and modified for the Space Shuttle program. Launch Complex 39A is active, launching SpaceX’s Falcon 9 and Falcon Heavy. Pad 39B is being modified to launch NASA’s Space Launch System.

Here is what the LC-39A tower looks like now with the walkway and the cladding.
