LUNA SEA Performs GUNDAM THE ORIGIN 2nd OP Song in Sand Dune

Following the anime edition music video for the first OP theme song “Sora no Uta ~Higher and Higher~,” Universal Music Japan’s official YouTube channel has also started streaming an 80-second music video for “Hisoubi” (Tragic Beauty), the second OP song for MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM THE ORIGIN Advent of the Red Comet performed by five-member Japanese rock band LUNA SEA. While the previous clip was fully created with footage from the anime, this second video features the band’s performance in a sand dune.

The song has been used as the anime’s OP theme since its fifth episode aired in Japan on May 27. The band’s 20th single including the two OP songs is set to be released in Japan tomorrow, May 29, 2019.
