Champions League qualifiers Atalanta are in talks to sign Udinese’s €15m-rated box-to-box midfielder Seko Fofana.
Atalanta are already negotiating deals for Ruslan Malinovskyi and Luis Muriel, as well as another loan for midfielder Mario Pasalic.
However, Gianluca Di Marzio’s website writes they hope to add Fofana to that list, explaining the Dea have reached out to both his club and the player, who has already given his approval to the transfer.
The 24-year-old began his professional career at Manchester City before joining Udinese permanently in 2016.
He has gone on to play 84 times for the Zebrette, scoring 10 goals and providing five assists.
Fofana also has one cap for Ivory Coast but holds a French passport and represented Les Bleus at youth level.
