All times stated are UK

  1. Post update

Nigeria have a defensive free-kick. For some reason the keeper sends everyone forward and takes it himself – and it runs all the way through to the Guinea keeper.

  2. Post update

    John Bennett

    BBC World Service in Alexandria

The Guinea fans still signing and dancing. The Nigeria fans all on their feet urging their team on in the opposite stand to me. Could be a fun last few minutes.

  3. INJURY TIME

  4. YELLOW CARD

Nigeria midfielder Peter Etebo catches Ibrahima Traore high on the shin and goes into the book. I’ve seen players sent off for less.

  5. Post update

Guinea aren’t going all out for an equaliser here. Goal difference could still be key and they can still go through if they get four points.

  6. SUBSTITUTION

Nigeria bring on Danish-based striker Paul Onuachu for Odion Ighalo. The 25-year-old is just over 2m tall.

  7. Post update

Nigeria counter but Samuel Chukwueze over-his his pass forward. They could have been in there.

  8. Post update

Should have been a good chance for Guinea there. Issiaga Sylla whips in a fine cross which recent sub Fode Koita can’t control. But he should have.

    Time running out now.

  9. Post update

Ibrahima Traore’s free-kick is punched clear by the Nigeria keeper in a collission which leaves a couple of players on the ground.

  10. SUBSTITUTION

Guinea striker Fode Koita replaces Francois Kamano. They like making changes at big moments.

  11. Post update

Free-kick in shooting range for Guinea.

  12. Post update

Guinea’s Amadou Diawara – the Napoli player – curls a cross straight out of play. They won’t be out if they lose this – but they will be left needing a win against Burundi to have any hope.

  13. SUBSTITUTION

Nigeria make a change. Young winger Samuel Chukwueze, who has had a great season with Villarreal, replaces Alex Iwobi.

  14. Post update

  15. SUBSTITUTION

Guinea had made a change as Nigeria waited to take the corner they scored from. Dyrestam Mikael replaced Ousmane Sidibe.

  16. PENALTY APPEAL

Nigeria want a penalty as Ahmed Musa’s cross hits an arm. The referee says no and we have no VAR in the group stages.

But a replay shows it was a shoulder – and next to the body – so even in these crazy handball times, that wouldn’t have been a penalty.

  17. goal

    GOAL – Nigeria 1-0 Guinea

    Kenneth Omeruo

Nigeria answered my pleas quicker than I expected. Moses Simon whips in a good corner, and Kenneth Omeruo glances a header past Ibrahim Kone.

The Super Eagles are heading to six points from two games.

  18. Post update

Alex Iwobi’s shot is blocked and it’s another corner to Nigeria.

WOULD SOMEBODY JUST SCORE A GOAL PLEASE?

  19. SUBSTITUTION

Naby Keita is replaced, although the Guinea midfielder is able to walk off the pitch. He had come back on again following the injury.

Lass Bangoura is on to replace him.

  20. Post update

    John Bennett

    BBC World Service in Alexandria

Nigeria building some momentum here. Wilfred Ndidi having another good game and Ahmed Musa looks dangerous when he’s in full flight.

Naby Keita went down off the ball again. Have to admire his courage to do all he can for his country and at times the spark has been there but clearly far from 100%.
