Sampdoria and Fiorentina are reportedly considering a striker swap for Manolo Gabbiadini and Giovanni Simeone.
According to Sportitalia’s Alfredo Pedulla, the deal would satisfy both clubs as they look to move on their respective hitmen, while receiving ready-made replacements.
Simeone is free to leave Fiorentina this summer after a return of just six Serie A goals last season.
Gabbiadini, on the other hand, is no longer indispensable for Samp and is liked by Viola boss Vincenzo Montella.
He only returned to the Blucerchiati from Southampton in January and netted four times in 18 appearances.
Pedulla adds the exchange would be worth €11-18m, with the possibility one of the teams bank some extra cash.
