Real Madrid star Gareth Bale has once again shown contempt of the highest level to his club and fans on Tuesday while on a mission with the national team, Wales.
The forward mocked Los Blancos after Wales qualified for the 2020 European Championship by confidently prancing around with a flag that makes clear his priorities, in this order: Wales, golf, Madrid.
That means that Real Madrid matters the least to him despite the exorbitant salary he receives at Bernabeu since 2013 and with the help he has been granted following persistent injury.
It is in the record that the Welsh has had a significant change of attitude at Real Madrid after the return of Zinedine Zidane as a coach in March.
Zidane advocated for his release during the transfer summer as he stated that Bale was not part of his to plan to revive lacklustre Real, who have suffered since the exit of Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus.
Bale has not played for his club since succumbing to a calf injury during Wale’s draw against Croatia in October. And his training with Wales was described as ‘a miracle’ by Spanish newspaper Marca, and that was considered as mockery in the first place!
His Tuesday’s celebration after 2-0 victory over Hungary now triggers all rage and it is clear the 30-year-old will not have a place in Real Madrid’s Hall of Fame.
And much more could be seen when he makes his appearance in Real shirt. Zidane’s men will welcome Real Sociedad on Saturday in their La Liga match at Bernabeu.
