Boca Juniors presented an offer to Antonio Conte, but he turned it down because he didn’t want to leave Europe, report TyC Sports.
According to the media in Argentina, Conte had received a proposal to replace departing Guillermo Barros Schelotto.
The Copa Libertadores Finalists made an initial approach, but Conte immediately made clear he was not prepared for a move to Argentina.
He would’ve been reunited with former Juventus striker Carlos Tevez, who won the Scudetto with Conte in 2013-14.
Conte is still under contract with Chelsea, but has now been linked with Manchester United following Jose Mourinho’s dismissal this morning.
