Juventus defender Leonardo Bonucci has denied falling out with Gonzalo Higuain during the Supercoppa but admits the Milan striker was ‘agitated’.
Bonucci and Higuain had a coming-together after the final whistle in Jeddah, but the Argentine’s former Juve teammate assured it was nothing personal.
“Celebrating is always beautiful,” he told Gazzetta dello Sport after his side’s 1-0 win against Milan on Wednesday.
“Chiellini? He’s having a great season and he’s found a way to manage the games he plays.
“Higuain? We didn’t fall out. He was annoyed with the referee and I went to calm him down. He was agitated, but they’re things that happen on the field.”
