Coppa line-ups: Atalanta v Fiorentina

Atalanta have Josip Ilicic back in the starting XI with Duvan Zapata and Papu Gomez, while Fiorentina use Federico Chiesa, Luis Muriel and Kevin Mirallas in the Coppa Italia semi-final.

The first leg ended 3-3 and the decider kicks off in Bergamo at 19.45 UK time (18.45 GMT).

As the result was 3-3 in Florence, it means Atalanta as it stands would go through on away goals and would do if there was a 1-1 or 2-2 draw here tonight.

If they should replicate the 3-3 result, then the tie would go to extra time and maybe even penalties to see who faces Lazio in the Final next month.

Rafael Toloi and Hans Hateboer are suspended for Atalanta, but Ilicic is ready to start despite a recurring knee problem that saw him only play a substitute role in Monday’s 2-1 Serie A victory away to Napoli.

That win put them joint fourth with Milan, albeit behind due to an inferior head-to-head record, so Atalanta are in the running for a Champions League spot.

Timothy Castagne and Robin Gosens take the wings, with Jose Luis Palomino picked in a three-man defence.

Ilicic joins Papu Gomez and Duvan Zapata in the trident attack.

Fiorentina were coached by Stefano Pioli in the first leg, but Vincenzo Montella was appointed earlier this month and makes tactical changes.

Chiesa, Muriel and Mirallas form the attack, although the defence can shift between three and four depending on the phase of the game.

Edimilson Fernandes returns to the midfield, with Federico Ceccherini preferred to Vitor Hugo at the back.

Atalanta have won only one of their previous eight Coppa Italia meetings with Fiorentina, drawing two and losing five. The victory was 3-2 in Bergamo, first leg of the quarter-finals in December 1998. They lost the second leg 1-0 and were eliminated.

Most famously, they faced off in the two-legged 1996 Coppa Italia Final. Fiorentina won 1-0 at home and then 2-0 away to lift the trophy on May 18.

Claudio Ranieri was the Viola Coach, Gabriel Batistuta scored two of the goals, Lorenzo Amoruso got the other.

This is the first time ever that Atalanta have reached two consecutive Coppa Italia semi-finals. Their last Final was in 1995-96, losing to Fiorentina, but their only triumph was in 1962-63 after beating Torino.
