Gennaro Gattuso confirmed Milan have “talked about” Sevilla striker Luis Muriel after reports he’s close to a loan move.
The tactician was asked about the rumours in El Mundo Deportes and Estadio Deportivo that Muriel had chosen the Rossoneri ahead of Fiorentina.
“I don’t know if we’ve got him, but we have talked about him,” confessed Gattuso on Sky Sport Italia.
“We talked about him, as we did about other players.
“Muriel can play wide, but you need to make the most of his characteristics and get him to attack the goal. He can play as a support striker too.”
According to Sky transfer specialist Gianluca Di Marzio, the arrival of Muriel would not necessarily mean Gonzalo Higuain’s January exit.
