Manchester United To Beat Liverpool To The Signing Of Norwegian Wonderkid

Manchester United caretaker manager Ole Gunnar Solskjær looks ready to beat Liverpool boss Jürgen Klopp to the signing of a Norwegian wonderkid.

The 45-year-old former Red Devils forward might have been appointed until the end of the season, but he is already looking ahead as he plans on convincing the United uppers to make him the next permanent manager.

According to Bergens Tidende, United have moved one step closer to signing Isak Hansen-Aaroen.

The Norwegian newspaper reports that Tromsø IL chiefs Svein Morten Johansen and Kristian Hoydal have travelled for talks with the Premier League side.

The 14-year-old Tromsø IL star had a trial with Liverpool last year, though he is a United fan and would consider a move to Old Trafford as a dream come true.

The Red Devils would not be able to sign him up to a contract until he turns 16.

However, the two clubs have already held productive talks and United want to put into place a pre-contract agreement.

Solskjær already faces the possibility of losing one United star at the end of the season, while three clubs are interested in signing another player in the January transfer window.

Should Solskjær be named the next permanent United manager?
