Micah Richards Set To Revive His Career At New Club

The January transfer window is well and truly in full swing, and so to is the rumour mill, with Celtic being linked with making a whole host of ambitious moves.

As we told you earlier today, former Manchester City and Barcelona midfielder Yaya Toure is being tipped to make a remarkable move to the Scottish champions by several publications in Greece, whilst ex-Hoops midfielder Victor Wanyama has also been mentioned as a potential target in the British media.

However, Aston Villa defender Micah Richards is the latest name to crop up, with social media awash with rumours of the former England man moving to Parkhead.

Richards was once revered as one of the hottest prospects in English football, but his career went into a tailspin after leaving Man City for Aston Villa in the summer of 2015.

He’s still only 30 but Richards hasn’t played a competitive game for the Villains since October 2016 as he continues to battle a niggling knee injury.

Of course, there doesn’t appear to be much substance to the rumours, but who doesn’t love a bit of transfer gossip from Twitter?

Do you think Richards could still do a job for Celtic?
