Napoli are close to agreeing a €50m transfer fee, including bonuses, for PSV Eindhoven forward Hirving Lozano, but image rights are a problem.
According to Sky Sport Italia transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, the Mexico international has given the all-clear to the move and PSV would be satisfied with the offer on the table.
It’d reach around the €50m asking price, with performance-related bonuses included, beating the bid from Manchester United.
However, there is a very large stumbling block in the form of his image rights.
Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis insists on having his new players sign over all their image rights to the club, but this has caused some previous moves to collapse entirely.
As a Mexico international with many sponsorship deals, Lozano could well hesitate to hand the image rights over.
