Meanwhile, RHOM star and psychic Jackie Gillies recently told NW she is still undecided about whether she will return to the new season of the reality series.

That’s a sign! Last week, RHOM star Janet Roach told the Herald Sun that her psychic co-star Jackie Gillies actually predicted the return of the Arena reality show, before reports emerged that the series has been greenlit for a fifth season

Just last week, RHOM star Janet Roach told the Herald Sun that Jackie actually predicted the return of the Arena reality show before reports emerged that the series had been greenlit for a fifth season.

Janet, 60, said Jackie, 39, who shared her skills with the nation on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! last year, forecast RHOM would return in October this year.

Last week, Daily Mail Australia confirmed RHOM had been signed off for a fifth season, with the official cast currently being finalised.

They’re back: The Real Housewives of Melbourne is preparing to start filming for season five

‘Some of the women have already been told unofficially that they’ll be returning, so they’ve been doing everything to make sure they’re camera-ready,’ a production source revealed.

‘Lydia Schiavello is definitely coming back, that’s why she’s in such great shape right now – she wants to look her best for the show,’ they continued.

‘Jackie Gillies, Gamble Breaux and Janet Roach will most likely be back too, but everyone else is on the chopping block.’

Daily Mail Australia understands that Foxtel has been trying to figure out the perfect cast combination moving forward to ensure that the season is the biggest and best yet.

Is Gina on the chopping block? Gina Liano’s future on the series is in doubt after she finished season four on the outs with almost the entire cast

‘They’ve been interviewing plenty of potential new Housewives, and are even considering bringing back some old faces like Chyka Keebaugh or Pettifleur Berenger,’ the source continued.

The last season of The Real Housewives of Melbourne aired almost a year-and-a-half ago – almost an eternity in TV time.

Despite the lengthy hiatus, RHOM still has a large and rabid fanbase that have been anxiously awaiting the show’s return.

Season four of the series saw massive cast changes, with Pettifleur, Chyka, and Susie McLean being replaced by Venus Behbahani-Clark and Sally Bloomfield.

By the end of the season, fan favourite Gina was on the outs with almost the entire cast, leaving her future in the franchise uncertain.

Who begs to differ?! A source tells Daily Mail Australia that Foxtel is open to bringing back former Housewives, including firecracker Pettifleur Berenger (pictured)
