Milan striker Fabio Borini is reportedly set to join Chinese club Shenzhen FC on a permanent deal.
According to Calciomercato.com, Borini’s agent is leaving for Hong Kong, where he will meet Shenzhen officials for talks.
The website explains Clarence Seedorf’s former side are ‘serious’ about signing the Italian, who in turn is ‘flattered’ by their interest.
The 27-year-old was one of 11 players to join Milan in the summer of 2017 but has scored just six goals for the Rossoneri.
Despite arriving as a forward, he has predominantly been used as a utility player, even turning out at right-back.
