Reports: Quentin Tarantino ties the knot with model/singer Daniella Pick

Quentin Tarantino reportedly has a Mrs. to sip a $5 milkshake with.

The two-time Academy Award winner, 55, tied the knot Wednesday with singer/model Daniella Pick, 35, People magazine reports in an exclusive. Without sharing its source, E! News reported it could also confirm the union. USA TODAY has reached out to Tarantino’s rep for comment.

A photo from the ceremony shows the couple dressed to the nines for the occasion. The director of films like “Django Unchained” “Reservoir Dogs” and “Pulp Fiction” kept it traditional, wearing a white shirt beneath a black suit and accessorizing with a tie. Pick donned a strapless, white A-line gown with sheen and a veil.

Per People, the couple met in 2009, but didn’t begin dating right away. By June 2017, the pair was engaged after being together for about a year.

The union marks a massive shift in priorities compared to 2009, when Tarantino talked about the subject of marriage in an interview with GQ, explaining his dedication to filmmaking left no time for “mundane things” like “family.”

“When I’m doing a movie, I’m not doing anything else,” he said at the time. “It’s all about the movie. I don’t have a wife. I don’t have a kid. Nothing can get in my way. The whole (expletive) world can go to hell and burst into flames. I don’t care. This is my life. It’s Mount Everest.”

“It’s just nothing but the mountain, every single solitary day,” he added. “I’m not saying that I’ll never get married or have a kid before I’m 60. But I’ve made a choice, so far, to go on this road alone. Because this is my time. This is my time to make movies.”
