At least Ruby Riott made it past the two minute mark this time.
One night after losing to Ronda Rousey in a little over 90 seconds, Riott got a rematch in the main event of this week’s Raw.
It almost felt like WWE was making it up to Riott, after having her lose in embarrassing fashion to Rousey at Elimination Chamber. In fact, Riott was able to get one of the better matches out of Rousey,
The roughly 12 minute contest was fast, hard hitting, and extra physical. Even if the outcome was never in doubt, Riott and Rousey showed off excellent chemistry with one another.
Rousey would win with an armbar submission and then beat-up the rest of The Riott Squad post-match.
No Charlotte Flair. No Becky Lynch. Just Ronda Rousey closing the book on yet another opponent in the Raw women’s locker room.
Was it the right move by WWE to briefly hit the pause button on Rousey’s WrestleMania 35 feud?
